The Department of Ion Beam Center is looking for a PhD Student (f/m/d) spatially resolved single or few ion implantation for quantum technology. Your profile:
A completed master in Experimental Physics, Applied Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Interest in quantum technology and advanced focused ion beams
Experience in conducting experimental work and the ability to build delicate devices Experience in the application of charged particle beams, scanning probe techniques or optical characterization (photoluminescence, . . . ) would be beneficial
Programming knowledge for example in C++, Python, Matlab, R, Java, LabView
Readiness to work with an international team Willingness to travel
